Surprisingly, fairies look the most human out of all the magical species and are just as varied. Despite this they are easily identified by their massive butterfly wings. Often very colorful, their wings are complimentary to their looks and, fully extended, are almost as tall as they are with the center point of each wing attached close to their spine right below the shoulder blades. Due to being the only magical species capable of changing their size, each fairy has two different heights they can switch between. At their normal size they are about four to six inches tall, but when they become full sized they average around eight feet tall. Most fairies prefer their normal size, so it is not uncommon for them to avoid their full size when possible. When they do go full sized it is very rare for them to stay that way for any extended period of time, as it makes them fell exposed and vulnerable.
