In the modern day as well as throughout history, vampires have been called the determiners of justice for the entire magical community. Joined together with the sorcerer and elf, these three magical species are known as the powerhouse rank on Sarvannia. This is the main page of the vampire third of Sarvannia's powerhouse, and therefore will be the center point of all information regarding vampires.

About Vampires

Many books, movies, folklore, etc. have documented about vampires, each taking its own view on who and what they really are. Despite all this, one fact has remained fairly consistent within these various views and believes. Vampires are one of the strongest and most widely feared of all magicals. Interestingly, this is one of the few truths about vampires humans actually hold. They are one of the strongest magicals around, as they are the closest biologically to the original magicals from ancient times. However, not all vampires are born with this kind of biological strength and power to claim as their own. This is because over time the vampire species has evolved into four very unique classes. Before we get into that though, we will first look into the aspects and qualities they all share, even if it does differ a little between the four classes.      As mentioned before, the vampires' culture has evolved into four unique classes. The first two classes, the mutated and the natural, make up the lower class. The second two classes, the noble and the count, make up the upper class. To learn more about these different classes, just click on one of the following links.

The vampire culture can seem very complex, especially to those who have not been raised around it. This is especially true when it comes to their traditions. At the heart of their culture is their covens. Often called the home of their traditions, a coven is defined as a large society of vampires that all live together in the same building. Because of the safety, security, and family unit covens provide, it is like prime real estate among vampires. However, becoming a member of a coven can be a lot easier said than done, especially if you have no family ties to one. This is because each coven is limited to the space available within their chosen location. Sometimes this limited space causes a new coven to be created, though this too can be rather lengthy and complex as their are many requirements that must be met in order to gain the title of coven. Then, after that, there are rules and regulations that must be followed in order to keep in good standing with the vampire community.
